Does your dog only listen to you when it wants to or have selective hearing? Maybe it only responds when you have a treat.
If so, you will want to come down to the Omaha Riverfront on Saturday June 17th at 11 AM where Dog Gone Problems’s David Codr will be presenting a free dog behavior workshop, Talking Dog!
Nebraska’s only private dog behaviorist, David Codr of Dog Gone Problems has REHABILITATED THOUSANDS OF DOGS IN ONLY ONE VISIT visit using Dog Psychology, positive reinforcement and many of the same communication cues dogs use with one another.
In this free 30 minute workshop, David will share dog training secrets and behavior tips to make sure your dog listens to you when you give it corrections or commands. With the right approach and technique, even the most stubborn dog can learn that it is good and rewarding to listen to their people.
This is the first of a series of workshops the Riverfront has asked David to give this summer along Lewis and Clark Landing. Each workshop will cover a different topic and include a Q&A at the end.
The riverfront is dog friendly but we are asking anyone with dogs that have aggressive or reactive behaviors (such as anxious and nervous dogs) stay at home as we are expecting a big crowd.
There is no seating but a nice well maintained lawn to sit on. We suggest you bring a lawn chair, something to drink and paper and pen as you will want to take down all the amazing dog training tips and secrets David will be sharing.
The workshop starts at 11 AM. The first 30 minutes will be filled with tips and secrets to get your furry little friend to listen to you. We will wrap things up with a Q&A session where you can ask questions about your own dog problems.
We would like to thank the Omaha World Herald, The Green Spot, Dogtopia for supporting this event and helping you to help your dog.
So that we can make sure we have enough room, please RSVP at http://www.doggoneproblems.com/rsvp/ We will send you an email to confirm your spot along with a map to make it easy to find us.
