Is your dog leash reactive? Does your dog display aggressive behavior when meeting other dogs?
If so, you will want to come down to the Omaha Riverfront on Saturday, July 15th at 11 AM where Dog Gone Problems’s David Codr will be presenting the second in a series of free dog behavior workshop, Talking Dog: Dog on Dog Problems!
David Codr has REHABILITATED THOUSANDS OF DOGS IN ONLY ONE VISIT visit using Dog Psychology, positive reinforcement and many of the same communication cues dogs use with one another.
In this free 30 minute workshop, David will share dog training secrets and behavior tips to make sure your dog listens to you when you give it corrections or commands. The best way to stop dog aggression is to know the signs to look for and redirect your dog to avoid any conflicts before they begin. David will also share some techniques you can use to help your dog develop a positive association with other dogs.
This is the second in a series of workshops the city has asked David to give this summer along the Omaha Riverfront. Each workshop will cover a different topic and include a Q&A at the end.
The riverfront is dog friendly but we are asking anyone with dogs that have aggressive or reactive behaviors (such as anxious and nervous dogs) stay at home as we are expecting a big crowd.
There is no seating but a nice well maintained lawn to sit on. We suggest you bring a lawn chair, something to drink and paper and pen as you will want to take down all the amazing dog training tips and secrets David will be sharing.
The workshop starts at 11 AM. The first 30 minutes will be filled with tips and secrets to help your dog stay calm when meeting other dogs and when going for walks. We will wrap things up with a Q&A session where you can ask questions about your own dog problems.
We would like to thank the Omaha World Herald, The Green Spot, Dogtopia for supporting this event and helping you to help your dog.
We can only guarantee space for those who RSVP. To get more information or RSVP to attend for free please visit www.doggoneproblems.com/rsvp. We will send you an email to confirm your spot along with a map to make it easy to find us.
We look forward to seeing you July 15th!
